Dear reefers,

I just started a new tank and it has been a wonderful experience from setup-scaping-coral shopping-husbandry.

I started from a 1foot tank-2feet-3feet. Every tank has its own challenges and excitement. Sorrow and happiness.

End of the day, no regrets and worth every bit of relentless efforts put in. I believe alot of reefers agree to this :)

I shall start by posting some of my humble residents

:thanks: for taking your time to view

ur rock scaping is very nice. BTW, i see that ur fox coral is not expanded fully. have alot of potential (: fox corals can expand very beautifully! How ur majestic? never nip ur corals? personally i find majestic angels very beautiful and one of the more reef safe big angels. but the price and the risk usually puts me off.

I love octopus

How long is your Majestic Angel in your tank? Maybe you manage to get one that does not disturb corals. Normally large angels love zoas.

Read from a book that bumblebee snails are not adviseble for reef tank. Let me find the title and you may wish to read about this snail.

My majestic have been with me for sometime and im lucky to have one which doesnt nip corals.

I used to have a clown trigger 5" which doesnt bite corals too. However, gotta let the trigger go because it bites the the coral beauty angel, squirrel fishes and clowny.

As for bumblebee, yupz its carnivore but with substantial algae to graze, it wont hurt the corals.

I have 8 of it.

Yupz, firstly water is cloudy from topup and pix taken from a norm digi cam.

Here are some of simple equipments im using -

1) Tank - 3x2x2 feet black silicone 10mm thickness

2) Sump - 2ftx14"x16" with 3 compartment

3) Cabinet - Chengai wood with hood

4) Resun CL650

5) 3ft DE Lighting with 4 white 2 blue T5 tubes

6) Euro-Reef Skimmer - ES 5-2 good for 75 gallons

7) Skimz FR with Rowaphos

8) Eheim Air Pump - 200L/hr

9) ABS 3000 return pump

10) sun wavemakers

Some questions though, i have the following in the sump :-

1) cheato

2) red plant (dont know what species)

3) halimeda

4) carbon

5) filter

The weird thing is the overflow box and sump water is very clear but the main tank's water isnt as clear.

No problem with all LS though.
