you prob know this already but once you keep a dottyback, it will be hard for you to put in RG or other timid fishes already. That fella is a tyrant. :P

yes...and they will challenge other fishes and intimidate less aggressive fishes...but once they know other fishes are not afraid...it will leave them alone...

plus pt: very good at searching for brittleworms....

Finally managed to complete my rescape.

hehe.... very very satisfied.

the only thing is that I did not use epoxy to secure most of the small frags.

Do not think they will stay in place ..... still need to move them back from time to time.

His tank is pretty covered one,... so dun think jumping is the issue.

Prob kena harassed by the more established tankmates :)

ok, my purple always in her cave, when lights go off starts to wonder around, but so far seems happy and not even going up the surface, hope doesn't jump-off as my tank is wide open ... well, not really i guess coz the maxspect is sitting right on top of it

Hey Jun,

BTW, I have gone back to my reefpack.

I wanna make that set up work! *fist clenched

that's good bro ! yeah i saw ytou selling out your canister. i'm still with my reefpack. only thing before is couldn't solve the microbubbles from the skimmer even with wool at bottom, so tried relocating everything. eventually ended up both skim/filter together as advertized. microbubbles gone. also good as it allowed me to place the ice probe that i've mounted in an HOB filter. just haven't gone full throttle on it yet as the waterfall causes too much bubbles, so trying to have the water fall directed instead probably with a pipe or something to flow down better.

yeah i know i know i haven't posted yet ... soon bro. my tank is empty ... i don't have jewels and emeralds like you guys yet. soon ... soon ...

My bubbles issue is gone. not sure why it took so long.

Prob with the way I tune it.

I always shut the valve.

Then slowly loosen it until the bubbling is at the neck.

there will be a point where you will hear an exceptionally loud hissing sound.

just loosen it by a tiny weeny bit more and that should be the sweet spot.

Waiting for your update bro!

Side view:

See the H goby at the bottom.

THe black grid at the back ==> chaeto project.

thanks Justin. wanted to scape a bonsai but in a 1.5 ft cube.... really not quite possible.

Scaping a nano is really difficult.

yah... eyes so sharp.

Thairun only has one left. The other superman monti was taken up already.

But bad news, I accidentally broke it into 2 during my scape... hmmmm the good thing now is that you have 2 piece :P

paiseh.....

Impt update for those using prodibio pdts:

Pls do not assume that the vial will always make a clean break.

I step onto remnants of the broken vial today.

I think i did not make a clean break and a piece of glass shattered out.

thank goodness my girls did not step on it.

So please take special precaution.

Scaping a nano is really difficult.

Its only possible if you start from scratch and have the discipline to buy only minimal pieces of live rocks. :heh:

I wanted to do a bonsai scape, but couldn't bear to part with the rocks, and thus, rock pile... :P

I find scaping for nano cube tanks difficult. If its longish, it should be easier.
