Saw ur cheato box but I think the holes in the small mesh that you bought is still large enough for the pods to swim out without any difficulty. I am going to cut this into 4 pieces and create a bracket to house the mini sock within my chaeto box on the right hand compartment. Lighting should not be an issue since you can get the white filter bags. C328 sells a few sizes if I'm not mistaken. As for pods swimming out, as long as you do not zip up the filter bag and the entire filter bag is submerged in the holder, they should be able to swim out from the top. Details and pics available in both RC and Nano-reef. Aqua Clear (AC) is a popular hang-on filter in the US which is very squarish and has decent space to house cheato.
