Hi, it seemed that my miami vice zoa with about 7 polyps is missing.

Searched the whole tank yesterday night but just could not find it.

Has it happened to anyone before?

Any possible explanations?

Also, some of my fishes often flow into the IOS.

What can I do to prevent this?

Thanks!

If it is small frag on a rock it might be worms.. I had all small frags suck to a hole on my LR... Should be bobbit worm or big Bristleworm... I have never caught it red handed thou... But i have no crabs in my tank.. That will be be the only explanation?

The zoas on a small rock. Bought this miami vice zoas from LemonLemon; very nice color one.

At first I thought the wave is too strong and blown it somewhere; but still could not find it.

My IOS not using teeth barage; using the square net kind; see pic; found it in my gmail.

May have to find smaller holes one; anyone know where can I get smaller holes one?

lol such a mystery.

maybe dropped inbetween the rocks or somewhere?

- turn on just the blue LEDs. see if you can spot them (If they are opened and the colours are nice, very easy to spot.)

- try using torch light to try to locate your it

Homefix DIY has plastic mesh with various hole size.

you can try exploring that option.

I had 3 crabs in the tank; I think ...

1 red cherry I bought from LFS (1.5 cm about).

1 brown came with the rock (1.5 cm about).

1 very tiny one; still not sure whether it is a crab or not.

Cannot seem to take the pics of these creatures.

May have to wake up at 3 am to check for worms .... arrgghh.

(-_-) Happy will do ... (o_o)

Yeah, my pipe fish, I think that is his name; always swim thru;

One of my shrimp always go thru to the sump.

Then yesterday, 2 of my damsels also in the IOS.

Once it is in there, hard to get out.

One question; what kind or brand of piping is good and easily be removed in the IOS?

So I can catch those fishes that went in.

My current piping is quite tight; no way to remove it :eyeblur:

Going to Homefix now, lunch time to get smaller hole mesh.

Hiya ... a bit regret did not catch the crab while it was in my ikea tub.

I put it in my tank, thought that it will help me clear uneaten food on the floor sand.

Went to HomeFix just now; did not buy the plastic mesh;

because need to buy the whole piece while I will be using just a tiny bit.

Also, the tiny holes one is quite soft; not as sturdy as the bigger holes one.

Nevermind, see how later tonight when reach home.

Already asked for some piping changes so that I can remove the pipe in the IOS easily and catch those fishes.

May need to spend more moolah ....!
