Haha! Persuaded Victor from Iwarna to sell to me.

He was in their display tank :)

Cute little fellow, perching here and there; seemed to love live brine shrimp.

Dang! :pinch:

Your persuasion skills must have been pretty good ... these little fellas are quite hard to come by, aren't they?

Which display tank? I don't recall seeing it in any of the display tanks over in Iwarna before ...

The one beside the main desk.

Not easy to spot this guy, coz he usually perched behind rocks or in between rocks.

Yeah, nowadays hard to come by; same as the blotch anthias; still looking for a small one.

This flamehawk supposed to be from hawaii; was told.

(-_-) Happy will do ... (o_o)

Yeah, so I was told, from Hawaii, but they may not be come in every Hawaii shipment.

Oh the super long tank next to the desk with plenty of Clowns or Anthias, or the cube tank on the other side?

The Blotched Anthias is also on my list - do let me know when you come across a specimen or two, I will do so likewise! ^_^

Yeah, I want your Tangoroa Goby.

But your house is quite far; let me know if you go down to AM or SL or Reborn on weekend afternoon.

Can pick up from you there.

Else have to wait for the East outing.

Thanks!

Hi, when you guys change water;

you change from the sump or the tank?

There is no difference right?

Thanks!

I siphon detritus from the sandbed in the main tank for WC.

hmm from what temperature to what temperature? Pretty impressive actually. :) For your future reference I guess, coz this chiller recommended flow is 900-3600L/hr.

Hey comycus, I think I need to change my chiller pump to Eheim compact+ 2000 or 3000.

http://www.eheimasiapacific.com/prod_pump_compactPlus.html

Will be better for my chilling right?

Thanks!

Theoratically yes. Faster flow, means more water gets chilled in the same amt of time. I know some reefers prefer to have max flow through their chillers.

btw, changing water from your sump will be less stressful for your fishes.

Easier for me

Cheers!

please do not attempt to keep catalina gobies unless you are willing to provide cold water. these fishes need very cool water... cool enough for your tank to "condense" in ambient RTP. higher water temperature increases metabolic activity and shortens their livespan.
