Beside getting the above, what else do I need in order to create my own DIY-LED lighting?

- Ballast? (where to get?)

- Casing? (maybe a strip of wood?)

u do need a heatsink like aluminuim plate if it's thick enough and not hot u can do without the fan

for power supply wise there's cheap alternative way is just to get a ac to dc with a amp which able to support the current u need it can work out just right

however u do need to know it also a risk for this unless u got those constant current driver according to what u need it'll prolong the life span of the LED

hi bro i did it half way and thereafter i pass it to a bro as i got another idea of doing it

by the way also busy with coming baby next week so kind of busy but as for the cost depend on what kind of set up u going for

ok a pc of LED is bout S$2/- and the driver depend on how many LED u wanna drive at one go so u think of it

and see what kind of setting and let me know i see whether i can help

Around how much will it cost to drive these leds? I saw some of the led drivers at meanwell.com. Can someone advise around how much will a Led driver for around 150w cost?

i'm not too sure depend on model u going for...

as for ur info meanwell only have max 60watts model for constant current the rest isn't constant current but still can be use for driving LED just that it'll have a not more than 20% of power fluctuate so still not so bad

what i'm using are the LPC model the 20w type with 700ma
