Led for in tank chaeto refugium

Any one has had experience or currently using off the shelve clip on led with low Kelvin rating like Ard 6500k to light up small refugium with gd chaeto growth? Brand, model, rough price will b appreciated. Thanks

chaetos grow easily.

you can play a bit of par rating here for this.

as long light is above a certain amount.. i would say a 9w lamp not too far of course). chaeto will grow

the reviews on this is quite gd. But any cheaper alternatives like below 30 bucks LEDs? What's the photo period u using for chaeto? Mine abit slow just using main tank lights

I just ordered the DYMAX ROBOT LED..that comes with 28leds $25bucks

Planning to use it for my Nanocube back refugium with chaetos.

Will post results if there are successful growth or not
