yes this is how you connect a chiller but most people will have the pump place in the sump or IOS area, rather then in the tank itself..

chiller doesnt come with the hose... you need to buy them seperately..

If you use a canister filter, you can hook your chiller's intake to your canisters output and the chiller's output back to the tank. This way, the water entering your chiller is pre-filtered by the canister filter and less detritus will accumulate in the chiller's reaction chamber.

If you use a sump, the pump for the chiller should be located at the end-stage of your sump for the same reason - cleaner water entering the chiller.

yes i agree only clean water entering the chiller if not will got choke. :poster_oops:
