i used to keep them too, ghost boxing shrimp, dr shrimp, fire shrimp.. deformed, broken legs, tails, feelers, etc will just grow back normal after a 1-2 molting.

such extensive damage to your shrimp would take more than 1 moult...

can't expect it to grow back everything during it's 1st moult. be patient :)

and get that dottyback out! haha

Your dottyback need to be quarantine or the fire shrimp to prevent further stress....

Ya. U need to take out the dottyback. Shrimp r very prone to fish attack. A little attack a day may result to stress or even up the lorry 1 day.

So make sure all your fishes in the tank r ok with shrimp then only u intro them together

Some1 doesn't 1 2 do anything find an excuse,some1 1 2 do something find a mean!

Fire Shrimp are quite notorious to other shrimp but will easily overthrone by your dottyback.....

in a big tank, you can keep more than 1 fire with other shrimps.

i have 4 cleaner and 2 fire in my 183 gallons.

fire shrimps are extremely shy and will usually hide for the 1st 1 or 2 weeks. then slowly emerge and become more brave.

they are peaceful but may chase other shrimps away at times.

hi bro, there are 4 marine fish shops at pasir ris.

It may take a few molts for ur fire to recover. meanwhile feed him well. adding iodine is good.

The dottyback is a known gangster. adding more shrimps would give him more victims to hammer!!!!

take the dottyback out. no question.

stop putting poor shrimps in the tank for the dottyback to kill.

don't add anymore fire shrimp until yours is fully recovered. fire shrimps are not as easy to pair as cleaner shrimps as you think.

Yes ... get the dottyback out.

my hermit and camel back shrimp all never live for 24hrs cos eaten up by dotty back.

2 red fire fish also stress till death by dotty back within 1 day.

Very bad experience with dotty back,

Is fire shrimp reef safe?

If you add one more fire shrimp, the new one may also gang with the dottyback to bully the weak one....
