Need ID on this sps

I hope the gurus here can help me identify this piece of sps.. It's can be found locally....

The skeleton looks like those of porites..but then when the polyps are open they resemble that of small little anemones?

Below is the pic..hope it is clear enough...

Any help would be appreciated..thanks!

Hmm..think different species..mine the polyps dun stretch out that much....I have another bright green colony..but it keeps getting moved around by a resident rock-moving crab....

I hope I posted in the right forum since it turned out to be goniopora... :unsure:

It looks like encrusting hydnophora to me but your photo isn't clear enough to ID properly.

Can you count the number of arms in each polyp? How long does each polyp extend to at the max?

It's an encrusting goniopora. Hydnophora will have little triangular domes or pyramids where the corallites meet, called hydnophores.
