Any updates of your 1ft tank?

Quite curious...

I also have the same tank as you. 1ft x 1ft x 1ft with built-in overflow

I setup once but find that the sliding plastic flitration is not so good. No aeration or water flow.

I re-silicon it till all water proofed...

regarding the sliding filtration back, yes i experienced a couple of problems with it.. e.g. water not flowing to filtration from the overflow comb.. but im fine with it now..

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Oh, that is great.

I have re-silicon my tank and under-going cycling stage now with live rock Only.

After re-silicon, the 'sump' effect is smooth now...

Over flow now is:

1st column--> to mechanical filtration--> coral sand --> 2nd column --> coral sand --> pump back to tank

Previously ALL water go into the back filtration together, almost no circulation i think.

Just started cycling for 3days... patience patience.....

I am using 2x 1.8W fan to cool the water. Now only liverock. plan to get some soft coral.

Bro here, any recommendation?

Can try to add premium US zoas.. As the tank is rather small I will limit my corals to being the best/most beautiful.. Cus in nano color makes a huge difference in the tank's appearance :) apart from zoas u can consider ricordea Yuma or R. Florida :D
