hi bro, long-tentacled plates, yes.. i tried before, but one bad thing is, at night when ur lights are off, the plate coral retracts, so there's no soft bubbly pillows for ur clowns.. and also, the plate get stressed easily by the constant irritation from the clowns.. :)

my clown seems to be making a home out of my goniopora, i moved the coral and the clown did not move along, does this shows that he haven't made the gonio his surrogate home yet?

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

-skimmer-less-

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

based on my personal experiences, it doesnt mean anything.. it could find back the gonio very shortly, or it could find another alternative.. it might like a certain coral, but location is important as well, thus when u moved ur coral it didnt follow, probably because it didn't like the new location/ prefer old location..

i've seen clowns being hosted by numerous objects, from pipings, clams, mushrooms, zoas etc etc.. anything goes.. just be careful not to give the coral undue stress..

zoas might not be a good idea too.. they get stressed even easier and refuse to open after some time.. speaking from personal experience, as seen below.. :)
