Hi, Yes, I got a few more from other reefers and my tank now dominated by them. Suffering the same fate as you. Any other fish I added in will be bully by them. So, right now, in order to introduce any new fishes, I've to catch all of them and isolate them in a pail for 3 to 4 days. Brain wash them, so that they forget about the setup in the aquarium. This is because, by rescaping, that's still a limitation of what you can do, because the fishes have memories of their environment. Re-introduce them into the tank and let them establish their own territory again. Well you have a nice setup, rescaping to catch the demselswould really be a waste.

It will do, however, you probably have to clean your cannister more often. A sump is better than cannister; an a cannister is better than overhead filtration and an it is better than no filtration at all.

Hi, I'm having diatom bloom problem recently. I realise that my some live rocks are covered with a layer of brownish substance and are releasing tiny air bubbles. My tank walls are starting to have brown patches with some hair-like substance sticky on it. All these happen when I perform a 20% change of the water. For your info, my tank is 5 weeks old. Is these a "new tank symptom"? Jus a question, asfor the air bubble are they Oxygen (does diatom also perform photosyn ? ) all they're actually Carbon dioxide ?

Hi, Yes, it doesn't need an anemone. I saw the Wistma foodcourt fish tank. THe anemone stay at the top of the tank so much that after a few weeks it disappear (I assume it die liao). After that, the clownfish stay take refuge in the rock itself. IT has being in such situation for the last 2 months.
