hi all ........... after 5months of neglect the same cycle goes again. The ugly brown sponge built up in the back of my tank . Algae growing everywhere and fishes start dying. Finally enough is enough and its time to rescape again. This time I wanted to take the opportunity to dig out eery crab every bristle worm I can catch cos my fishes are mysteriously dying. I tore down my tank and place every live rock into a fresh water dip. I oulled out worms that are 30 cm long. Finally killed a box crab that is 1 inch big.

Hi all, My take is don't take loans and leverage too high ...... Too many people I know buy condo, buy big car, therefore has to work hard and be slave to work... and they don't have the option to quit and do other things cos got big bank loans. I read that one of the reasons the govt make the land prices high and hdb flats high so that people will buy it and be slave to paying off the loan so that they will stay in singapore and not migrate ....... The point is live simply and live a life ...... work will never finish but our life will ....

Sorry guys, I see that alot of the photos are taken under pure actinic lightings ..... I think we need to raise the standard abit Quality zoos need to look good under normal lightings ie of 10k to 14k bulbs or mixed with actinics and not only actinics

Hi RAV-65, Most of the pics that you have posted above that is from RC is available in Singapore and quite common. I have seen those in Reborn -- the indon species. For fiji got to go AA. Only the bright orange centre type not seen before in Singapore.

My cyano grows only in my refugium which I dunno why. I just scrap it out and off .... these guys I think are bacteria and it will spread one ... for me I just need to use cotton wool to scrap them off once in a while.

Finally, not buying anything for 1.5 months I cannot tahan already. Today I splurge at AA's shipment of new fiji zoo shipment. Now finally I have US like quality zoo to show off. Tri-color rock : pink, green orange zoos

The polyp of the fiji zoo is super small, compare to this bali red skirt that I bought yesterday from Red born. Again I fresh water shake it for 20 seconds before putting in water.

Finally I have some zoos of US like quality to share. This is today's stock bought from AA. Dunno why nobody bought this. Tri-color rock : pink, green, orange fiji zoos. Not the normal bali - indon rocks. As per advised by DA, I have FW it and shake it roughly in fresh water for at least 15 seconds.

Hi for me, I had two nice crocea growing happily ..... until I bought a new maxima, then suddenly all three clams starting pinching and all died in a month. I was under the impression that clams from diff locations are mixed together, they may spread microscopic disease and bacteria and infect each other. So now I am very careful. i only have one maxima clam and it is growing healthy by it self ....
