i wonder do lighting play a part? since we place our zoa on different level and depth of the tank.. i noticed my 3 polyp eagle eye when i place on sand bed, its totally closed.. after a few days i shifted to my frag station which is much higher and all 3 opened up fully for a few days.. right now only 1 open halfway..all my other zoas are opening up and growing baby zoas. strange...

i also have a 3 polyp eagle eye that sometimes open half way, sometimes closed and sometimes opening nicely.. seems like it depends on its mood.. anyway how long did it take for u to grow that zoa from 4 to 15 polyps?

Hey fellas, some stuff to let go. 1) 1L Rowaphos (70% left) placed on weighting scale and it shows 800 grams. around 70% left in the box. they are brand new! Selling at $30. 2) Microbe-lift zoo plus coral food. (90% left) got it from a friend who used around 10%.. i already got other coral food so not planning to use this. retails at $20. Selling at $12. Hey fellas.. i have 2 API nitrate test kit (1 bought few months ago, another 1 bought from another reefer as a package with other test kits). Today is my first time using both to test together to see the accuracy and to my surprise.. first kit gave me 5ppm, while the 2nd gave me 20ppm.. I re-did the test a total of 3 times and all 3 results are the same.. i then tested the 2 kits on my tap water and both shows 0ppm.. is there anyway to judge which one is faulty?

where got sell captive bred true perc? 2 weeks ago bought a pair of false perc and they died of brook.. looking for captive breed true one now.

any update for those who have been using them? do they really increase your po4?

i have 2 asterae snails in my 34L tank and its been cleaning up brown algae in my tank very well.. one even got to the extend of climbing on to the output flow of my hang on filter and eat all the brown algae there within 2 days.. at first i was still worried why it decided to climb so high up..
