mini mod done by myself for the ozone to be directly introduced into my beckett. air valve is to control fresh air intake (tuned to 1/2 opened to compensate pressure loss), the other end of the Y-adaptor is hooked onto the ozoniser. only drawback is that i am uncertain as to in how ozone-safe r the Y-adaptor and ehiem hose. will hv to change them every now and then. so far so good. ozoniser has already been running for abt 2 mths.

.....with my macro mV controller ###### pH monitor. pH probe has been calibrated with Hanna pH 4 & 7 fluids. mV probe reading has been matched with trans instruments 475 mV calibration fluid.

IMHO, as long as huge consortiums (as in our dear local telecommunication companies) charges an admin fee (even as low as 1 cent), not a single call from me. why must i be made to pay an "admin fee"? why can't these tele-companies juz do it out of "charity" as well? i'll juz make do with the donations deducted from my monthly payroll....... at least, i do not hv to pay an admin fee. I stress again, the above-mentioned comments r entirely "In My Humble Opinion". No harm is intended to NKF or whatsoever.

I agree. for me, i hv been using 50 grams of Rowa Carbon on my 50 gallon reef setup. the carbon is placed in a filter sock and situated at a low flow area. the carbon is changed out every 7 to 10 days.

nope, but u dun see sps growing downwards right? (unless they blast their MH from the bottom of a BB tank) both factors r generally the main causes for directional growth.

yup, got it abt 2 mths back from sentosa marine.

test ur dkh. if it is low, u r having ionic imbalance. ur Ca and Mg values r 2 high for comfort. The high evaporation rate possibly comes from ur fans. yes u can. but make sure it receives enuff lights. no comments.
