well most of the time it's yes sir yes sir.. but sometime they trick you or ask stupid question you do have to say no sir wa.. Anyway if not for NS I would know about Marine tank also.. lolz cause one of my campmate intro me into this hobby and I took 1 yrs to study be4 going into it and now my tank is 2 yrs old. And next yr I will setup a new 2 feet by 2 feet by 30 inches tank.

Ya life suck in NS, cause now you can urge with your folk but in Ns you try urge la and you will see how many gurad duty u going to do. There is only yes and no answer in army. In NS u just work brainlessly to pass time why cause that's what SAF stand for => Service and *expletive* off. I hated so much of army life, I rather rot and die outside then to go into NS, at least I can die with freedom outside.

I have the same idea as you. 2 powerhead is a gd idea as if one happen to fail u still got 1 going. Well just make sure 2 ph add up to be 2500 will do. Lastly the pipe for the ph should be small or the size of the outflow of ph and the overflow must be of a much bigger pipe to allow more water to go down

me too i left the water overnite but i did not use ph or air stone... I have 4 mineral water bottle each 500ml, so i will everytime route each bottle to top up the water lost. which avg water lost per day is around 500ml for mine. In this way I need not bother much about having not enough time to remove chlorine or whatever...

well if your anemone keep moving about cause it's stress and cant find a right spot for it. And if it keep closing for many days.. be prepare to throw it into the dustbin. I have keep 3-4 of them and I finally give up. they are costing my various clown fighting and worst they r troublesome to keep and my high water flow not suitable for them as they end up most of the time stay at the back of my tank. And i can move them for display.

yes... thin glass tank is very dangous. Better play safe then sorry. You tank given the time frame it will crack anytime. As salt water has higher pressure then normal water. PLus your current flow make it worst. Think u r only thinking it's the LR that will make the tank crack. But in fact it's the water pressure that is going to kill the tank. And then u can start seeing your "time and money" flowing all over your house and your mum will shout that's it no more fish tank in this house anymore.... hehehe

well when i custom make my tank I request my back glass to be black glass so it save me the trouble to find wallpaper to paste it..

my light I'm using 4 light in 10K kelvin. I dont use powerhead. i use 2 water plumb at the water flow rate of 2600. it's a 4 feet tank with 6-7 inch sandbed. Yup it's in the air-con but only at night then the air con is on. Day time I just leave it like that. it's up to you to believe it or not.

for me, for years I never use any fan or anything to cool my tank. It some how have been mantain at 27 to 28. And I'm happy about it

Check carefully if that is the white spot. Best is catch your fish and then put them in plain for 1 min be4 putting them back. Fish can survive in such low salinity provided you slowly reduce it a week to reduce to 1.014. For fish only tank your salinity be in 1.022 to 1.024 will do. If you got coral then best to be in 1.024 to 1.026 I keep my tank in 1.025

wow... it say add 1 tea spoon to 2 litre of water... so powerful huh... then if i add 1/4 of tea spoon to 500 ml of water every 2 days like that should be good enough right and you should be able to pour the soultion directly into the tank or at least into the over flow? Any advise?

Hi all, Why not we all gather all the list of reef shop we know in Singapore. Then at least everyone of us got a better choice of choosing what to buy and get cheaper/better coral/fish/equipment.
