slightly what is the recommended way to connect up a chiller? i have seen various methods like: 1. tank through pump to chiller and back to tank 2. pump in sump last section to chiller and back to sump last section, where another pump will deliver water back to tank. 3. pump in sump last section to chiller and back to tank. 4. pump from sump second section to chiller to last section of sump i am thinking of option 3 but if teco really moderate the flow rate, then my desired flow rate for my tank (looking at 2000l/h) will not be achieved unless i do another return to make up for the reduce flow rate. option 1 will need another set of piping anyone using option 2 or 4? will the water warm up before returning to tank, ie cooler water is just circulating in sump and only partial return to tank. thanks!

anyone notice lck110 running a 0.5hp reef relief chiller for their clams? not sure of the water volume cos the entire tank setup there are cascaded but under bright sunlight and water temp at 25... chiller still running strong but dunno how many hours.

if u want really big purple tang, check out those at cf. if normal ave 3" type, everywhere also have. cheapest price i come across is $38 but if reborn is so cheap, im going there to get one. sg tengah got one shop selling for $42 each but some at 4" and all very healthy looking and even dark purple colouration. best in terms of quality.

my powder blue is has staked out his territory, which happens to be the whole tank. funny think is the other 2 gang up so the bullying is quite even. juz dancing around but no biting yet. hopefully they all settle down and live in harmony.

yeah juz use those ordinary clip fan. if you get those fabricated for tanks type, it is quite ex. im using an old fan that was bought for my baby previously. temp sol until i sort out my chiller space problem. fan can only bring down to 27-28, depending on ambient temp. if heat wave come, i think at noon time can go down to 29 onli or maybe worse, 30!

firegobies quite cheap at reborn. softies and corals nothing to shout about although i did manage to get the last piece of red buttons. there is an even nicer piece under the reserved tank. lots of lion fish and squids (i think). cf got a xxl achilles tang but sold liao. other tangs like powder brown (got some quite nice) and gold rim tang. i got carried away... instead of juz a powder blue, ended up with a powder brown and a gold rim tang. hopefully they can live in harmony since all 3 introduced into tank together. some nice true percula clown pairs... only 35 bucks. nothing much at left at pasir ris as of yesterday, mon 22 dec. wait for next shipment. heard today got ls shipment but not sure going to which lfs/farm.
