  1. Sealife have one of these lights on their 2 ft show tank for almost two months already. Can go check it out.
  2. Your foam dun look it is enough to trap the detritus. Looks like some of the water is bypassing the foam. Can see that some of the waste is already washed over to the pump compartment. If this is the case then your filter media will most likely be trapping some of it too. In the long run this will not be good for the media and the tank as well.
  3. Wow sure looks like coffee. Skimmer is really doing a good job. But this amount in less than a day? Your tank dun look that overloaded so how come this much? Is it normal?
  4. I am keen on the rocks. Once I see the photos I can confirm. Contact me Patrick 91817028

  5. How many % WC and did you check your parameters after the change?
  6. Welcome to the reef world. Rock looks like an artificial one - DE Rock?
  7. The later pics shows a maxpect nano light so it should be ok.
  8. By the way Eugene good gesture and wish you all the best in you studies and look forward to having you back after your studies.
  9. Maroon is very territorial and since it is already in the tank the clowns (percula?) will most likely be attacked by the maroon.
  10. BTW for got to ask. Your PAR 38 you bought on-line? Any specs?
  11. First pic in your update is it a goni? Agree with Mike nice zoas.
  12. Well I suppose if the light level is not too high it helps. After all its a fish only tank. One more question how long are your lights on for daily?
  13. Do you need to remove tha fake corals to scrub off the algae regularly?
  14. Agree with Junwei and Mike. Ick is no joke.
  15. The contrast now is of course caused by all th new rocks, sand and the use of a light meant for planted tank. Any plans to change the lights? Also how do you plan to keep the rocks and sand so white or are you intending to let it attain a more aged look.
  16. Sorry had a closer look. I have 1 & 4 already. So need 2 & 3 if available.

  17. I will take 1,2,3 & 4 if available. My contact 91817028 (Patrick)

  18. As the saying goes there are many ways to skin a cat. Some are costlier while others takes a longer time but cheaper. So really depends on how patient you are. As a matter of principle I will never use a life fish to cycle a tank. And in any case when a tank is cycled that does not mean that there is a full colony of bacteria to handle a full load of livestock. I beleive that the maturing process goes on as we stock the tank.
  19. Well since you do not have a sand bed you won't know right? BTW I love bare bottom. Over time coraline grows on it is actually quite nice.
  20. Thank you. Will check out the place on Saturday,
