  1. Hi i got a hailea one at 1750L/hr. Unused as too strong for me and just kept as spare with box. Can whatsapp me at 96549151 for pics.
  2. Www.framesandglass.com give them a call. I did mine at 6mm thick at 29 by 30cm glass and sanded the sides. Call them for pricing.
  3. If u have the time, u can actually buy a 2feet tank and then buy pieces of glass and silicone exactly to your spacing needs.
  4. I wash the rings in the canister filter for my freshwater shrimp set up though. Really can clog up... sent u pm already...
  5. Small tank, dont tear up your account for those expensive monitors. They are definitely good but just use the usual reliable brand test kits will do. I got a hydrometer by red sea free if u want. Bought the hydrometer but afraid not accurate and gotten the refractometer but in the end, surprisingly same results... Can meet up u guys maybe next week in one of the shops in the east. great to know people here too... btw do make sure to rinse all the ceramic rings regularly as you would know they love to trap deritus... happy reefing! oh yaa saw your mum loves those flower stuff? Can try zoas, golden cloves and mushrooms for a start.
  6. Looks viable... take note of dead spots around especially directly below your wavemaker and if the mangroves are not all clump up together then it'll be alright aesthtically cause you'll need lots of mangrove for it to be an efficient nutrient transporter. Consult the tank makers too cause they would still have more experience in building different types of tanks... just my 2cents worth...

  8. Live aquaria.com though u can't buy there, but u can see what's available for easy keeping or beginners(hardy) corals.
  9. Hmmm you can try red sea's 28gallon nano or the bigger one. hmmm if you're planning on UV, why not use the money to get a RO/ Di unit? it does help clear the water in terms of free floating stuff in the water column but pathogens or baddies on surface of live rocks and all are not removed as what i've read about. If you keep the door/ windows closed, temp should be stable or use a chiller in a cabinet with those child safety lock from ikea if there's any worries? hope to see your tank soon!
  10. Try n30, fishy business, cr aquarium, Iaquatics Try google for contacts.
  11. Hi i got a 2 feet aquazonic one if ur interested.
  12. Forgot to add, post pics here or whatsapp to 96549151 with price and size. Do note that my tank is only 3 feet so no big sized ones please. Thanks!
  13. Hi all, anyone with any reasonably priced frags from LPS/ Softies range to sell let me know. Need a variety to get my new tank up by CNY if possible.
  14. Anywhere with good variety or reasonable priced lps/softies that i can choose so i could get my new tank filled by this CNY. thanks!
  15. Yeap it could as long as the pellets are not exhausted. Haha!
  16. Can try daily gradual water changes, maybe go for wetter skimmate and reduced feeding while dosing az-no3?
  17. Aquamarin or u can ask uncle henry from Marine life if he has anything similar cause im using one for phosphate. Hmmm found the cause of nitrate? Like heavy bioload? How long has your tank cycled? Tried gradual changes like around 20-30% water changes daily? Tank size and inhabitants inside?
  18. Look for bro fuel. If im not wrong, they do breeding. Can ask iwarna too...
  19. Not a senior but If i may, the usual good husbandry like regular water changes, skimmer, bio filtration like live rocks and a good deep sand bed, macroalgae like chaeto will all help to remove nitrates. There's also Az-no3 and those carbon liquid dosing too. The best way is to still go by natural means like water changes and macroalgae is good. Using additives requires careful dosing and extra monitoring. what's your needs or issues u face?
  20. Hi bro, any chance u'll be in the east like around tampines or pasir ris area? Can msg me at 96549151. Need it to start my refugium soon! Thanks!
  21. Hahaha if more heads than posted, i'll add in $5 more... Not much but just an appreciation for keeping for me. If i get it la...
