  4. Well.. I suggest you better decide whether you wanna keep soft corals or hard corals first . SOME soft corals are quite damaging to hard corals if you put them together.. especially the mucus they expel from their mouth. I do think brains and pratas are easiest to keep. My opinion.
  5. Dont be worried if you see the skeleton .. once they start to recover, they will grow back double quick time. Pratas are actually quite hardy... Give it a while more and continue to tempt it with market prawn. Change water if you must but as long as the its not rotting as a whole. Its "salvagable" my opinion.
  6. I cant say for sure what is the reason but if you are feeding small pieces of shrimps to it, then it should recover in due time. Of course, you must ensure if the shrimp are swallowed in the first place. Had a prata similar to yours a while ago, fed it consistently with shrimp till i sorted the problem. As for the bubble, I think most importantly is that you must observe if the tenacles are extended when the lights are out. Normally, if they do, then they should be alright for now. You can try antibiotics if the bubbles start to rot. But please use it responsibly Just my opinion.
  7. Lets just say i converting my tank to a species tank. With only bubbles!!
  8. haha... looks like there are lots of bubble fans here. my bubble additions after 8 months. Too many bubbles to put individually liao.. might as well put one pic for all! Maybe can form a bubble fan club liao... haha..
  9. Maybe just a feel of the size... my tank about one year ago when just "refurnished"

  14. Nice.. Can see we have a growing number of lion enthusiats.. hahahaha..
  15. Any lionfish of this sort about 6 inches and above??? Looking for a mate for my lion!
  16. Lions likes to rest on rocks. So if you have corals. you gotta be careful. My lion used to rest on my sponge! Angry, Hows your witch king doing?? PV
  17. Anyone knows where I can get healthy and big lionfishes? (volitans and dwarf) Been looking for it for quite some time but to no avail.
  18. yeah.. Heard that the pain is excruciating... will suffer from syndromes too... Worried about it when i used to put my hand into the tank with 4 lions.. hahah
  19. Nemo?? Then better not put lions in.. Think my lions favorite food seems to be nemo..
  20. One more thing. Lion tends to rest or "attach" themselves to rock outcrops.. so you need to provide space for that.. otherwise they will rest on your corals... not too good for them if that happens Just my 5cts
  21. Kept about 8 lions before.. Better get some lions that are about the same size... My five inch volitan ate up three of my dwarf the other day...
