  14. water from skimmer is about 1000 l/h flow (from Eheim 1000 pump) water from overflow to chiller than to the scrubber
  15. see pic. I am using Aqua Z white led (for plant) - from East Ocean
  16. My DIY algae scrubber : a plastic paint tray, a plastic gauze, and LED light. Plastic gauze is roughen, then placed on top of the paint tray. Seed the gauze with some algae. Place the paint tray in the sump in horizontal position. Water from my skimmer and overflow lws over the gauze, then to the sump. LED is above the gauze. LED is on 12 to 14 hours. Grow lots go algae every week. Total cost of paint tray and gauze : $6, from any hardware store.
  17. Bought white vinegar from Phoon Huat. Can it be used? No flavorings or preservatives. Also thinking of using to kill some aiptasia
  18. The AT at LCK is 3 blue 2 red for the smaller one, and 3 blue 3 red for the bigger one. 2 AT left when I left LCK just now.

  21. have 2 small clowns but do not wish to keep as they irritate the goniopora.. keen to swap for some small fish or invert. PM me if interested.
  22. another week passed ... feeding daily phytofeast live and zoofeast live, target feed the sun also. daily change of 4 litres water and removing of detritus from tank and sump rainbar removed, added one more wavemaker.. waiting for my mp10wes (2 of them) in the coming week... so far so good.. the corals are opening, except for the green goniopora (last pic)?? the other goniopora is very happy from day one - open up around 2 inches rich nutrients - daily skimmer empty 1 cm junk..
  23. iskay : to be perfectly honest - my purchase was made in impulse at JM - u know what I meant. I re-negotiated (rejected the quick start) and changed the config to over-flow, added the chiller, skimmer etc at my own costs. The package included the corals - which JM added at one go. Understood after some research that the Sun may be tough to keep - will do target feeding etc. ya - the Sun doesn't open much ... Rushact: picture taken when the white LED is off. I have 150W (2 white strips and 1 blue strip) LED - hope it is sufficient?
