    u DIY a pipe for the outlet to dispense water under the water line and also to adjust the water output using the knob to bring the water level down in your skimmer so that it doesnt overflow

    Not advisable, just feed more to rise NO3 Or target feed ur corals. Problem with ULNS is the water is too clean and this starving the corals. Remember that open seas r also ULNS, but at night the water is full of food like planktons for the corals to feed

    Frankly speaking 120w n 160w dun have a big difference in energy consumption. My experience for 160w, unless it is hung higher than 9" above water line, one cannot cover the 5' adequately

    how long has this fish been introduced to your tank? sometimes fishes need to settle down before to start eating, fishes can go without food for a week

    its a PO4 removal, why would it remove NO3?

    may be a better investment in the long run to have a compressor with drop in coil, try to get a second hand compressor to match your budget.

    Was using 2 x razor 16k before for my 5'x 2.5" x 2.5" tank, sides about 4"-6" not illuminated. If you want better illumination, may have to hang them higher. Was doing 9" above waterline previously

    6" tang in a 2' tank? I cannot imagine how stress the fish will be due to lack of space to swim. i would recommend to get that 6" tang out bearing in mind that Sailfin tang can grow beyond 12"

    brush off the algae with a toothbrush (temporary solution) and check your nutrient levels and lighting period (solving the root of the problem of algae)
