Make sure your return pipe will not leak.. Mine leaked a few days then he free then came to fix.

Finally saved enough to get a new Hailea hs-66a chiller and more corals added and also all my invertebrates 2 x cleaner shrimps, 2 x fire shrimps n 1 x strawberry crab all well n surviving to date. Both cleaner shrimps keep spawning free meal for my fishes... But still need to upgrade lighting, so this aquazonic 4 x t5 3 feet is now sleeping in my storeroom. Manage to upgrade to maxspect razor 160w and super like it....

Find my tank empty and ugly during the first 2 weeks, decided to add a piece of Zoas from CF at $6, then 3 days later my invertebrates cleaner shrimp and strawberry crab perished.... One week after Zoas introduced, they fall off from the LR and melted. I started to regret taking up this hobby as these sea creatures just died because of I do not understand well enough and never read enough. I never visit SRC at all when taking this hobby. Soul searching time... Read up about invertebrates cannot tolerate copper and I don't think that is the problem cos every week change 20% water and I never fix LFS water in my tank when putting fishes as I always introduce fishes in QT or sump first. The problem should be the water temperature as is always 31-33 deg. Sian need to wait for pay day to buy chiller as I decided to redo scaping and keep some beginner corals...

My PBT was with me for 3 months n one fine day Kanna ich n died that day. So currently 4 tangs plus one blue throat trigger. Right manz my no3 is always 50 ppm. Running chaeto n algone reduce it to 20 ppm n gonna try FR. That is y I will not have SPS...

Actually for carpentry works I ever think of getting back my renovation ID as their worksmanship is better than my tank maker but 3 months after renov completed dunno they entertain ala carte work and also if engage tank maker make tank but not cabinet a bit awkward...

Due to budget constraints, start off as FOWLR, no chiller, no wave maker, 1 return pump Ehiem 1269, Skimz Monzter SM161 skimmer and 3 feet aquazonic 4 x t5. Simple livestock 3 x live rocks 2 x damsel 2 x black ocellaris 1 x blue tang 1 x yellow tang Lonely blue tang... First few days return pipe leak, lucky Vincent return and fixed otherwise I will write a bad review about him...

My 2 current prata From AM $40 From Iwarna $55 Was so tempted to buy a red prata from AM just now but $120 no $ this week cos spent too much on platinum clownfishes

My initial plan was a FOWLR as is my 1st proper marine tank and the best thing is these 4 fishes are still well and surviving while some others come and go....My yellow and blue tangs are from CF which i think fishes from them are good quality but need to pay more and also GST. My black ocellaris are from Iwarna. Well initially I want little LR and no sand so that I can see more fishes swimming around.

Jan 21st 2013 finally tank delivered with cabinet and sump tank... After cycling with Iwarna sea water for 5 days, very impatient and add a yellow tang, blue tang and a pair of black ocellaris...

Well said.... My pain starts that both nemo died after a month with me every do WC to every 3 days do WC. No skimmer and also temperature for pico is also problem every 3 days WC also headache. So I saved enough in jan to engage Vincent to build a 3 feet, recommendation from a fellow reefer who is also my ex colleague with 5-6 years marine experience. So my pico tank becomes my office planted tank.

Always wanted to have a marine aquarium since young, but staying with parents is always difficult as they will complain waste $ of electric bills, troublesome to get saltwater and no permission to any how place a fish tank in living room. Finally got my new flat and my OC blessing to start a marine aquarium and move in late 2012, but.... no budget because all spent on renovation liao. Some pictures of new home.... No $, so I started aqua plant tank at my kitchen....
