I have a sally lightfoot for may be three months. very active and hard working creature. Then one morning, saw him dead at one corner of the live rock. Next two days, the various parts of the body started to disintegrate. Very sad indeed. This morning, saw a much larger sally lightfoot. At least 25% larger than the previous one. Then it occured to me .... the creature just went through a molting process. It looks like a tarantula with much elongated legs and a bigger body. i am sure some of you have these experiences. please share. now my concern is since it is larger, will it hard my other fishes ?

aiyah, juz bought two Aquaz T5 HO 39W actinic tubes yesterday. sighhhhhh ....... and cryyyyyy ..... so, what are you buying or recommending for 3 feet T5 tubes ? i need those real blue type.

i am using two M620. can i assume you are talking about millions of bubbles being blown out over a few seconds, then everything is back to normal. if that is the case, it is because your M620 is placed too near the water surface. the suction of the pump causes a vortex to be formed (like an inverted tornado) and air got sucked in. out comes millions of bubbles. so, suggest you lower the pump further down the water level. the blue knob is to control the volume of water flow. by turning clockwise, it closes the intake hole, hence less water intake. hope it helps.

tank setup 3ft x 2ft x 1.5ft lighting 2 x 14000K DE 150W MH with two "blue" light tube, one of which is not working. don't even know if blue tube is FL, PL or T5. as keeping only bubbles, mushrooms and leather, perhaps MH is an overkill ? for pleasant viewing, i really like the actinic blue. i think its called T5 ? so, i am confused if i should change my lightings. please let me have your comments, suggestions or recommendations.

chiller CL450 stopped working 30 Sept 2005, having served well for about one and half year. however still has electrical power and the LED still lighted. physical condition very good. as i have no technical/electrical knowledge, suspect could be compressor or fan. sorry, don't know what i am talking about here. anyway, if anyone interested, and if you feel its worth something, let me know. thanks.
