  1. Forgot to add on, i'm located at west area.
  2. Hi guys, want to trade away my blue hippo tang. Size is roughly 10cm. Healthly and feeding on pellet, small pieces of market prawn, squid. Want to trade for other fishes or marine keeping related stuffs. Sms or whatsapp 9237 4294 if you are interested and let me know what you want to trade for.
  3. I think best is take it out and dose treatment. Unless yours is fowlr and have no intend to add corals/inverterbrates next time. Because one of the best treatment for ich is copper and its harmful to coral/inverterbrates.
  4. A rinse will do. Looks for those dead rocks that are bleach white because it means it have sun dry for quite sometime. So nothing will be leave on the rocks. You can dose some bacteria additive to speed up. I do have lots of dead rocks with me. Drop me a pm if you would like to know more about it.
  5. Yeah, like what xiggie say. If you gonna kill the liverocks, you shoukd just get the dead rocks. Within months your dead rocks will also become live.
  6. Hi, welcome back to reefing. Am not an expert here. Just sharing some advice. 1) Go for the biggest tank size that you willing to pay and have space for it. So you will not have to upgrade in the future. (saves the troubles) 2) Go for sump tank setup, because you can hide all your equipments in sump and making more spaces for your display tank. Sump tank is more easier to have maintenance. 3) Skimmer, one of the most important equipment in saltwater keeping. Better to invest in a good skimmer. Hope the pros/experts will chip in more information.
  7. I bought 5 last week and now i'm left with 1.
  8. I see, i myself also do not have own transport. Have to cab in and out. Good luck looking for the flame angel.
  9. Nice nice, hope it faster stable down. Got it from lck?
  10. Would like to see the end product after you put the nylon net on! Cause thought of removing my hood, hahah. Have a great day!
  11. Welcome to SRC! Really love hood-less tank!
  12. Pacific reef have some frogfish, not sure if there's wartskin though, can call to check.
  13. Thanks guy, but i have already gotten everything. Thanks!
  14. Glad you love this topic bro. Cause been keep thinking and thinking. Some people have the same gallon size of tank as me but its different in length. So curious if those fishes that can kept within 180gallon tank, does the same logic apply to my tank. So yeah, wanna clear my doubts.
  15. Yeah, after hearing so much advice for the bro/sis over here. Plan to upgrade my 4x2.5x2.5 to 6x2.5x2.5. (next year hopefully) Cause sound logical that most fish swim from left to right than bottom to top. But if the fish swim round and round means the 4x2.5x2.5 is better than the 6x2x2?
  16. Wow wow, chill man. Asking if theres any shipment means i'm getting? Can't i just go down and have a look? Ok anyway, i had already planned to get chromis already. No point of disccusing about golden trevally.
  17. 6x2x2 or 4x2.5x2.5 will have more swimming space for a fish? Or its about the same? To be exact 6x2x2 is around 179gallon while 4x2.5x2.5 is 187gallon.
  18. Oh, and lets say a certain fish the recommended tank size for the fish is 180gallon. Both the 4x2.5x2.5 and 6x2x2 also can fit the fish right?
  19. So, length is better? Since both are 180gallons. Too bad, my current tank is 4x2.5x2.5 planning to upgrade next year.
  20. Hi guys, have a question to ask. Is the gallon of the tank more important or length more important? Eg: 4ftx2.5ftx2.5ft tank which is 180gallon and a 6ftx2ftx2ft tank is also a 180gallon tank. So which is better? Thanks.
