  1. Fire gobies also not herbivores leh..............tangs are good but grow too fast and bioload high. Looks like really no herbivores schooling fishes........... Eric
  2. Chromis & Bartletts herbivores>? Tot they luv brine shrimps than algaes..........reason I wan herbivores cos I want to minimise feeding to maintain nutrients level low. But I like to see thin fishes..........so I guess the best is to keep herbivores schooling fishes so they can feed on algaes most of the time and occasionally maybe once in a week, I'll feed them some thing else. Eric
  3. Hi guys, Currently looking for herbivores type of schooling fishes for my 3ft mixed reef tank. Any recommendation? Eric
  4. Seahare needs to acclimatise slowly. They are very sensitive to water changes. Once your water parameters is stable, you can keep them sucessfully and they are very good hair algae eaters. Eric
  5. This is a Singapore forum, not so pro.........but ppl here enjoy toking cok as well as they enjoy reefing............so GET USE TO IT DARYL!
  6. Interested in your activated carbon if they are cheap. Thx! Eric

$180? damn...........the knife is sharp. Which LFS?
  9. If your water parameters is stable, it will recover by itself.
  10. Pay a bit more nevermind, but choose the cabinet with good wood support like chengai. Cos if it dont last long, a slight tilt will cause your tank to stress and leak. THen all your thousands of dollars LS and effort will go to waste overnight. 2 cents worth....... Eric
  11. Haha, simple...........feed more to your fishes...........your fish poo will contribute the nitrate and Po4 for your macroalgae to flourish.
  12. Place them at low flow & slight shaded area at tank bottom under your 10K MH.............dose of Tropic Marine Pro coral iodine will help in bring out the bright colours. But do not overdose the iodine. Eric
  13. I dont think its a good idea to change water everyday cos there will be too much changes to your water parameters & will be very unstable........not too good for LS..........esp. sps Corals needs time to slowly adjust to new parameters, sudden changes will shock them. Eric
  14. Bro, how much you bought for the pinpoint ORP monitor? Btw, you dont need to run it on 9V batt. you know? Can connect it up to the white AC/DC convertor by cutting off the wires and sticking it to your 9V batt. +/- polarity. then run it online 24/7. Can save some money on the expensive 9V batteries plus monitor real time fluatuation. I do it for my ph monitor. Sorry abt the messy wires............sump cabinet too small Eric
  15. I tot MOMO only makes steering wheels.................hehe
  16. You monitor ur ph lor.............if fluatuate more than 0.3 then you dose some kh buffer lor. Eric
  17. Definitely a plus to your tank :-) Eric
  18. MELANDAS at Beach road Plaza Hotel got 1 I think, 3rd floor............bought my queen size leather platform bed and get 50% discount on the sofa set from there 2 years back. LOZENZOS at Macpherson got one branch, have a hard time searching for a suitable dining table to match my marble floor, at last found this Marble top dining table set there. The min my wife and me saw the table, no need to browse around liao.......that's the one. Eric

  21. Got a 3ft dymax T5 light set selling at $35 2 x 30W interested pls pm me. Eric
  22. MELANDAS for sofa and bed & LORENZOS for dining table Eric
  23. Jenson, your temp is too high (29.3C)..........for sps. Very risky. Are you using a chiller? Water Temp, water nutrients level must come before lights if you wanna go into sps.........If you are using T5 24W, I think your tank height must not be more than 15" else the PAR might not be sufficient............try ur best to maintain the water parameters on a constant with very low nutrients for a month & show us a full view of your tank. If its ready, I can give you some frags. Eric
  24. Add 4 layers of baffle plates in your sump. Eric
