seems like yuma not easy to keep sometime open nicely then suddenly all srunk and never recover

mushroom is one weird coral... just when I thought it is easy to keep and it does reproduce alot....then suddenly they start to airborne and disappear from the tank. most ironic is when I thought water condition and light are good and LPS opening up nicely and even trying out SPS....

but this pod also prefer food for Mandarin type of fish right?

I have a rock of cheap brown mushroom that have been with me for almost 2 years, started to melt early last week and was all gone after I come back from my oversea holiday. rest of the coral more or less ok. Wonder what will cause mushroom to stress up and melt away...... This rock of mushroom has been hardy and gone through all the "hardship" while I learn to improve my tank. Just don't understand why they died when I thought my tank has more or less "mature".

when feeding the fishes with brine shrimp and mysis the prata will open up .... then I will push a piece of prawn meat to the mouth and it swallow quite quickly... can leave you hand or "cane" near the prata to chase the fish away if any

try pasir ris ah beng.... or you can go to SeaLxxx ... they always have something they call carlupa (spelling) .... bought at $8 few months back.... grow like crazy and fill up my tiny refugium now.... helps to maintain NO3 below 5! no asexual so far....

by then probably you may hate them somehow cos I need to clean almost weekly.. simply growing too fast

what if I want to glue a piece of blasto grown on LR to another piece of LR? How to glue them? pls advice on the steps and type of epoxy/glue/gel...
