how soon usually? and if there is a 2nd bloom? tank is 6 months old. had the 1st bloom around 2 months old and now a 2nd one. previously using NSW to WC but has since changed to RO/DI with red sea coral pro saltmix. my rocks are covered in purple while the sand is a horrendous brownish

i dont have shrimps. got 2 separate nano tanks. one for clownfishes, anemones and soft corals. the other nano solely seahorse. salinity also differs at separate time of the day, right?

how many ft tank? isnt it better to just use a single light to illuminate the entire tank or you have different light settings for different part of the tank? damn swee tank btw...

i have diatoms blooming every other day. did WC of approx 20% each time with RO/DI water mixed with red sea coral pro but the diatoms still keep coming back. any idea why other then i probably overfeed the fishes?

what is the highest salinity that fishes and corals can endure? I am using red sea coral pro salt. followed their instructions for 38.2g/L and i ended up with 1.028 salinity...is it too high?

how about using concentrated lemon juice? I have tried that on a few and they melted off. will this cause spores to spurt as well?
