Using fan to blow across the surface works, but will only bring down the temp by 1-2 degrees. But please take note, evaporation rate is very high using this method.

It doesn't release toxins. When a sizable anemone dies or starts to decompose the ammonia level in your tank goes up. Depending on the size of your tank and the volume of water it might not do much damage. You might want to read up on this. Anemone. Cheers Kev

How old is your tank? When did you put in the skimmer? is it new? How much LS you have in the tank now?

I think it have to depends on different tank specs and water pressure. When I switch to neokn way of adjusting the water valve and air valve, I have opposite results from his. I'm using the Skimmer on my nano 2ft tank with water level just touching the bottom of the first screw hole at the bottom, in front of the skimmer. For those wanting to incorporate the air valve into your prizm skimmer, I think you have to trial and error on different amount of air intake and water intake for your tank water volume and pressure. cheers Kev.

You keep your water level at the O-ring at the throat of the collection cup right? And you only allow bubbles to reach that low a level? I don't have any more micro mist bubbles anymore though after some tuning Hmm..maybe I go try later wonder how it will goes. I'm still letting my skimmer stablise actually.

Try turning the water flow valve and air flow valve off first. On the water valve slowly to about 1/4 open and open a bit of the air valve. The air valve is quite sensitive so adjust it by very little. After getting the type of foam you want. (note : need to let it stablised for a few hours and more fine tuning had to be done once it stablised) Letting more air thru will foam bigger bubbles and less air smaller bubbles and more compact. If you choose to have smaller bubbles then you will need to open the water valve a bit more. That's from my test. Hope it helps. Not sure whether my explaination is clear enough. Cheers. Kev

No wonder I had to adjust my prizm skimmer airflow (DIY airflow) to almost shut too. I used it on fresh water in a big pail, leave it overnite minimun 24 hours. The water is for topping up of tank every nite.

They still do raiding now. Dun get caught with pirated softwares from Microsoft,or those big listed company. It's gonna cost you more than $30,000 fine. Sometimes they wait a few days before raiding, sometimes they do it immediately. Few of my friends kenna, some bought online but when it was mailed to Singapore, the customs opened it to check then send them to Media Authority of Singapore. MDA will then sent you a letter and asked you to go collect there. It's ok if you dont go but they won't charge you or fine you for that since it's mailed and you can always say your friend send you without knowledge of the laws here and get away with it.
