  3. i guess heat generation and noise of fan are some other important factors to consider. You don't want your room to get heated up. some chiller also quite noisy too

  9. Thanks bros for all the suggestions. I've attached a pic of it. It is orange brownish in colour stuck on rock surface and glass surface (only those exposed to lights). Sometime can see bubble on them too *pic resized, yes those are diatoms*
  10. My tank got orange colour layer on the glass surface and LR.. Are these algae? The glass surface can be clean easily, but how do you guys clear those algae from the LR?

  14. I've used Red Sea. Currently, using coralife.. No problem with both, but coralife has additional minerals but red sea doesn't.

Just read Deadmanz's thread http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33462 and i wonder how bro and sis here arrange their sump... 1) Arrangement of media 2) how many partitions of the sump There are many information on the net stating "superb" stuffs like siporax, biohome, etc.. too much information results in confusion. Maybe thats why people say "If you can't convince them, confuse them". Seems like many local reefers in this forum does not use them. Hoping to learn more from experienced reefer..
