OK OK . . agree that "mankind" can only try though many are "man-unkind" I'll try looking for that piece of news in asiaone.com so that more people will realise how fast the reef is disappearing It will really make one feel believe me . .. . Spread the word " dun buy if you cannot possibly 99.999% keep them alive "
  2. "dont tell me fishes dont die in the wild?? predators?? they might get eaten anytime... " They die so as part of nature, trying to complete the ecological cycle dun tell me u eat your dead livestock from your tank . .. . like fried clown on sea weed rolled like a sushi
  3. This harvest is from the reef and then sold to home as ornamental then eventually to the dustbin / mortuary ..

I saw on asiaone.com weeks ago [too bad can't find the page again] reporting that tonnes and tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of marine creatures are being harvested from the ocean's reef . . . . it is an incredible amount, year on year till now and the coming future the reef will be depleted very soon get the message ?

  8. Do a plenum ! or some prefers DBS . .. . . .. . .. . Cause nitrate will shoot up very quickly for such a small tank, water changes defintely helps but it will burn a hole in your pocket !

  10. Hi Jas, how big is your tank . . suspect that your have a large one . .. .
  11. Freeze afew bottle but dun put all in at the same time, rotate bottle by bottle ..
  12. When you first step up . .. did you place water in tank first then sand or the other way round ?

  15. IMO they will fight if they are of the same size IMO if one is very much smaller, then it will be no more that a "Tom and Jerry show" - run and chasing around
  16. nearest MRT amk . . take bus 25 or 165 and head north .. . . drop off just after the overhead bridge at seragoon . .. from amk via bus should take about 10 - 15 mins, but ofcourse depends on traffic and the bus driver
  17. Hi, Did read up somewhere here that changing to different type of salt mix can affect the tank mates . .. .. er .. who was it . . .. if i'm not wrong AT had such an experience .. . . . once . ..
  18. ph is higher during the day and lower during the night. if your ph of 7.8 - 8 is measured in the day then it will be lower still during the night and might be the caused of the tank failing at night

  20. is your PH of 7.8 - 8 measured at night or during the day ?
