  6. Also called california Angel, wondering any one has successfuly kept for 2 yrs in local? because according to the ref book its distributes as far north as the Gulf of California.so the water temperature should be consistent with what she is used to in its natural habitat--about 72F. It is possible to keep in at higher temp but the life span won't be long. I always hope that there is some exceptional cases around. Have you ever seen any lfs imported such species before? Tempted to try my luck.

  9. no regret to have her, She is bold and brave. In the first introduction state, as if she was every one's enemy, Picasso trigger chased after her, wantanabei, queen angle even majestic it's size smaller than her also bullied her,and worse still her real threat was come from the bigger wrasse who could not torelate her appearence not even a second. This is something I've not to expected and I thought my $ 90% has gone to the drain, suprisingly till today she is still swims around happily, and all the harassments have stopped and they just could not bother her anymore. One day I found that she is enjoying bubble jet bath by placing her body on top of the air tube outlet letting bubbles flip through her from side, and you know what she even knows how to gain the maximum impact from the bubbles by turnning her body to a angle, Is'nt she's amazing...
  10. QUOTE (madmac @ Aug 15 2004, 11:41 PM) Heavy skimming, good lighting and flow... are normal accepted principles... while Ca at 500, dHK 12, mg 1500, pH 8.4, PO4< 0.01 also conceivable ... but a tank with bare bottom??? Wonder if that's by choice or not ....'cause it so crowded there how is he ever gonna get to the bottom... for all you know it could be an Italian preference for bare bottoms.... : ) Seriously, are there are reefers with BBs here... it might work quite well.... hmm.. mm Freddychin, Time to show off your bare bottom 13yrs old tank.........hehehe Eric Ha...don't forget BARE bottom must go with OVERSIZED skimmer.remember the kEY words...sounds any thing to you...
