tornfins are no cause for worries , they'll heal back. Juz keep your water quality good. cant help u much here. Make sure yr tank has a good supply of pods!

same happened to my lamark Angel, i suspect is juz an injury. Aft abt 5 days , the eye is back to norm. Poor water condition can also be the cause. If the rest of yr LS is doing well juz leave it. If u KS abit , do WC. IMO

Hi there , i'm nt sure if the ballast or tubes can handle the extra watt driven by the ballast or the other way around. For High Output , u'll need a T5 ballast(nt cheap) , or a E-ballast reflector , can be frm aquaZ , DE , HV. check the sponsors forum so far aquaz tubes r the most affordable ones ard. i'm also using T5 on my tank ,nt using chiller. usually ard 29-30 deg c , but it dosnt really contribute to the heat factor other than that u'll need the norms like cables , 3 pin plug , end caps have fun DIY-ing

any update on how the skimming is doing ? the bubbles dosnt seem so dense to me , u can try adding a air pump to the air intake . it shd increase the bubble density

its nt impossible , but the risk is always there i've seen3ft tanks with a few diff clownfish living together but since yr tank is small i wouldnt suggest u keeping a variety juz stick to 1 kind , before they start turning yr tank into a battlefield

the copperbanded butterfly will eat worms , - tubeworms n such either the worm or the butterfly take yr pick

wads your salinity levels ? how dense is the bubbles ? i also have a AM skimmer dat skims very little to nothin at times tank is new n i carry out frequent WC , wif low bio load if everything is in check , i dont see the need to worry

tubes depending on brand cost differently, AquaZ $12.50 per tube regardless of length , type Aqualight , also 10 ++ Aquamedic , ATI , D&D i thing these are the higher range more costly ones check out some of the sponsors forum to check the price T5 HO ballast aint cheap , Tridonic Atco is ard 42bucks do yr calculations lol

theres no wrong in the UGF, as it provides a form of water circulation & aeration. even an airstone driven skimmer also does skimming it dosnt increase the temp. of the water , only downside is that the airstone needs to be replace or washed after sometime since u are aready using the UGF might as well get the air pump to drive an extra skimmer ???

its gd to QT yr fishes before adding them into the main tank. if your tank has aready been affected with ich , it'll be a PITA just to get rid of it.
