How does one diffentiate the type? Will this one remain colourless forever?

They are in fact classified as "tube anemone".there are area my types of colours ranging from colorless to ultra bright red,purple ,and orange etc....

If u bought a colourless type,then,it will be their natural skin after all.however,from the photo,if it is a bleach tube amemone,it will regain its original colour in no time,provided that u feed them small market prawns twice a week,or so..... Do take note that this tube amemone is aggressive,and their stings can kill a small fish or shrimps with their toxic tenacles.u need to space them apart or isolate them to a corner.

Is a beach anemone. if it can get the fish/shrimp in the tank then gd for it!

By the way, is it a gd host for clown or anemone shrimp/crab?

The first image looks like a Banded Bead Anemone. Possibly Anthopleura handi. Their natural colour is as in the image. They may sting your fishes and they also givegive birth to live young. If you do not want an infestation, best to remove it.
