Ignoring the pricing, which one offers better efficiency (electrical wattage vs cooling wattage), reliability and noise level?

I prefer Arctica b'cos of it's compact size..LOL!

comparing on paper specs, hp to hp, teco uses less wattage. but practical is always diff. wonder anyone does any experiment on this.

I think teco wins on noise. artica has a woo woo sound when chiller kicks in.

I had used both 1/3HP model before.

Artica win hand down for efficiency if you don't mind the noise.

Teco TR20 need a much longer time to chill a 5ft vs Artica DBA250.

You save a lot on your elect bill.

So is $ vs noise. Depend on which is more important to you.

Also u need to manage the heat as well.

The longer the chiller run.. the longer the hot air stay in your room.
