u can refer to my nano tank thread. i am using hang on filter.

Tank Theme: Mixed Reef with clams

3 feet tank with IOS

Eheim 1262

K3 wavemaker x1

Lightings: T5 actinic blue x4 , T5 white x4

Skimmer: BMQQ

Artica 1/5

Dosing: NA

Reefing is sharing. People with rotten mouth is sure a loser for life as expected. When a tomato gets rotten, you can nvr save it.. Throw it away before it infect the good ones.

since its 1.5 feet.. too small to have sump..

At least a 2 feet with sump. 1.5 feet is small... anyway u custom make the tank

A tank can always have a sump, no matter the size

i want a 1liter tank with sump..

can DIY or get tank maker to drill holes for overflow. I did the same thing to my tank :)

Disagreed. I have 1.5ft braceless tank with sump. All equipment like skimmer, return pump, active carbon, FR are in the sump and easier to maintain too.

Disagreed. I have 1.5ft braceless tank with sump. All equipment like skimmer, return pump, active carbon, FR are in the sump and easier to maintain too.

Agree with James, with sump you also increase the total water volume.

Canister is known to be a nitrate factory after long usage

agree too. have the small display tank and hide the bigger sump. it all just means that the bio load for the tank is very very very minimal due to the size of the display tank and coz the filtration is huge! hehe!

The Best Way Is To Keep It Simple.

yup, agree. that takes out the challenge in keeping nano though
