MH lamp Recommendation

Its time to change MH Bulb

Currently using BLV 10K 250Watt DE. Found it too yellowish to my liking.

Any reefer using Ushio 10K 250Watt DE? Any review?

Or any brand to recommend?

U can try Reeflux 12K or radium 20K

radium 20k is good but you will need an HQI ballast to run it best; e-ballast won't power it properly and will end up with a bluish hue... I am running 400w 20kk radiums on HQI ballast and it has a desirable bluish white crisp.

oh so there's a different with different ballast!!! im running on e-ballast. so any other recommendation?

Hamilton 14k...

20k have good coloration on corals but slow on growth..

I'm currently testing 15K Purple Blue from fish street.. will be using it for 3 months to see quality of the bulb before i go back to Hamilton 14k

U should try phoenix 14k... i heard the color is good.. its on the blue side...

its blue-er than 20K hamilton.. n running on Magnetic Ballast
