Many times hitchhikers like bristleworms feed on the fish after it is dead and that can be real helpful especially if you're like me where your rocks have some big caves where the dead fish cannot be seen. Over the years I've even lost big fish like tangs and my hundreds of bristleworms would take care of it for me.

What I'm trying to say is that hitchhikers may not be the ones to blame. Sometimes fish just do not acclimatise properly or they may not be in the best of health which might not be apparent at first.

I separate the rock which I saw that worm on it. Using high salinity method 2.0 I force them out..(few small red worms, a small pistol shrimp and that long long worm) its a small rock and when that damn thing ame out.. be frank I get frighten too.

As for CF's trap.. it said can catch crab, bristle worm, etc. I havent try it out yet. My second shipment of live rock havent arrive yet.
