Any one interested to join a bulk order for SCWD ?

If can get 10 pcs cost would be at S$78.

The SCWD (pronounced squid) is a T-shaped device that mechanically oscillates a 3/4" input to two 3/4" outputs. It can handle up to 1400 GPH with a max pressure of 5 PSI and a minimum of 50 GPH. It can be plumbed externally or internally and is ideal for closed loop systems.

Attach the bottom to the power head by rubber hose.

POwer head range should be 50 GPH - 1400 GPH.

The water will flow out from either the 2 holes in series alternately.

I am not sure what is the interval time.

you can really make it look like a squid...lol...

then u have 4 water outlets...

using a 1262 eheim pump (3500l/hr)...will mean...you will have pulsing about 7 to 8 seconds each direction

tat time bought for fun...in the end play in the bathroom to see the pulsing and then kept it in storeroom ever since...lol

Does that mean your squid is attach to your Main return pump ?

Interesting ? May be should follow that.

tat time i bought and play before my 4ft tank came....in the end realise that i can do without the scwd also..but it's a fun toy.....can shoot water in both directions...lol.....

Thought of ordering Ocean Currents too.

Looks promising but price compare to SCWD is double.

It has puling and rotating effect.

I have contacted overseas correspondence for discount.

If can get good discount may be better buy this one.

just mount it inline with your return pump from the sump and then either use the locline arms like i shown to immerse in the water in your desired directions to shoot the water out lor..hehhee

are these possible for a 2 feet tank? and is it only possible to use with a pump? Can use with a canister? .. really find these things very "chem"...

WAHHHH the SOTONG (SCWD) is so big.

Never expect it to be that size.

I better find out the Ocean Current size too.

Price for the OC is more than double on the net.

I have contacted them to request for more discount for orders up to 10 pcs. Still waiting for their reply.

What interest me is that it can rotate and pulse the water output.

Get back to you once price is confirmed.

You can use it with any tank size if you do not mind the size of the sotong.

BUt if you attach it with the Canister, it would not be advisable.

I feel that canister output is too weak.

Ocean currents has came back to me.

They are in the mid of redesigning the products.

New products will be cheaper and smaller.

This sound good to all hobbyist.

But new products will only be available in 3 months time.
