Want advices for Protein Skimmer

Hi bros and sis,

I am going to set up the marine tank and would like to buy the PS. Here are the brands I am looking for Nac, AquaExel, Bubble Magus Hero, H&H T81

Can you help where can i buy those PS with good quality? The thing is that my friend told me some PS only 30 sgd!!!!

My tank is 160x50x70 (cm)

PS: I stay in Bishan

Have you get your tank and sump? other then price will have to look at the dimension also, if your sump is fixed then will have to see what skimmer can fit into the space available. For skimmer, deltec is good, the new version of delta skimmer the price is not very ex.

worth to change my 851 to this?

not easy to put 851 insump haha

I still using Deltec 701 but very tempted after seeing the 1455 at another reefer's tank. Small but the skimmate is "candy floss".

You asked for advises and we have given our 2 cents, don't think its fair to asked us to comment on other brand just because you receive some "phantom" advises.

Do some googling and make your own judgement.

Skimmer in my opinion is no brainer.... Top range - Bubbleking if u can afford its price....

Mid-high - Deltec, Skimz, reef oct, other brands popular in US

Low-Mid - any other brand.

cheap n good = weipro.

some lfs are using weipro and one lfs is using it to keep expensive fish.

and weipro is $50-$70 range.
