I'm using it. I just bought it last week in Hong Kong at great pricing (about half price).

It's a 200W TEM chiller that's supposed to be able to chill up to 60 litres, so a 55L tank would be just below its limits. There is a smaller 100W version available in HK as well that's for tanks up to 30 litres.

I'm using it on my 30 litre freshwater tank and have it set to 22 degrees, so it switches on at 23 degrees. It takes about 20-25 minutes to cool my tank 1 degree (from 23 to 22 degrees) and kicks in every 2-2.5 hours.

All in all I like it alot, and it really fills a niche in the market for nano chilling.

iirc the highest version in the market is 200W (60L).

May you can try upgrade the Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier to 360W ( Tec1-12730 ) and the power supply which I believe it can increase the cool capacity to cool down 100L tank lor.

I'm using this chiller. IME this chiller is more suitable for smaller tanks <40L despite it saying that it can support up to 60L.

I've managed to cool it down to 26.5'C on my 55L. But it takes 1 hr to kick in, and 1 hr to cool the tank by 1'C.

Hi bro,

Mind telling me what is your tank total watt used (pump, wave maker...)?

Sorry..I have no idea too. but I think should opt out the LED as it don't really contribute heat into the tank lor so excludes LED is only 47W nia :P .

For my coming setup will be similar to your but slightly lesser watt.....

Return : Ehiem compact 1000 - 23W

Lights: DIYed or Radion

Wavemaker : SOBO WM-50 - 3W

Skimmer : Resun SK300 - 3.5W

Chiller pump : AquaZonic EVO E baby - 4W

Total watt is 33.5W  !

Do you guys have pictures of how it is hooked up to the tank? Would be awesome if you have photos of the insides of the chiller.

Got one 1 pic of the inside. Comes with 2 internal fans to cool the fins and 1 exhaust fan.

The stock setup is --> fin | fan | fin | fan --> exhaust fan and blowing in 1 direction.

Thought the first fan blowing hot air into the second fin was inefficient and tried modding it by placing the fans blowing away from the cooling fins. No improvements at all, and also adding more fans proved insignificant.
