I suspect could be micro bubble from your skimmer. Have u try switching off the skimmer to see?

if micro bubble from skimmer, both pump should having same problem.

cant confirm the problem has been 100% resolved as this morning I check with tank light on. shall confirm later once I back home.

Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture.

bro, probably you are right. I notice got some microbubble from skimmer compartment into return pump compartment. I place more filter sponge in between two compartment to filter it. :D condition even bettef than this morning. thank you for pointing out.

any wrong with my sump design or this is common problem for deltec 2560?

Quite common for this to happen. If possible, u can try placing the skimmer output further away from the return pumps.
