SRC Supporter SubzeroLT Posted July 12, 2015 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 12, 2015 I have a flame angel (purchased from Marine Life). Does not touch any of my Zoa. But does nip on new SPS for a couple of minutes whenever a new one is placed in. It ignores the SPS after that. 1 Quote Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/mysliceofnature/

SRC Supporter SubzeroLT Posted July 15, 2015 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 15, 2015 I read that one way to 'prevent' the flame angel from eating coals is to keep them well fed. Having some seaweed on a clip can keep them grazing & occupied. 1 Quote Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/mysliceofnature/

tench1
Chris, there are other "red" striking fishes around. FA is definitely not a wise choice. With your current residences, Flame wrasse aka Cirrhilabrus jordani, is a better choice for now. Don't learn ur lesson the hard way.
