Just found a way to deal with crabs caught.

I just caught a crab with my net just now. I crushed it into small pieces and threw it back into my tank... my shrimps love it.. the legs, the pincers, the body... all being snatched the moment I throw it it.

So nextime, do not throw away unwanted crabs.. just feed it to your shrimps and fishes..

No different from those who catch in chicken essence bottle and throw away in the bin..

wow! good suggestion! but too bad I have killed 30+ crabs in new lr and dumped in the bin. most didnt die yet when I dumped them. but now cant find anymore

really should keep them as food.. the shrimps love them.. not sure about fishes coz I have only scooters and mandarin gobies.. but I believe most fishes would love crab meat too..

If sufficiently large in size (Sri Lanka crab size) can think of more than a few reefers who would like them too!
