2 x weipro skimmer or 1 x Aqua C EV-120?

Have been using Weipro 2012 with good 1/3 cup black kopi skim every 2 days. Was thinking of adding another Weipro 2012 skimmer to help skim more or sell off present weipro and get a Aqua C EV-120.

What you guys think? Main objective is to skim more so as to get better water quality. Electricity & heat is no issue.

Can the Aqua C EV-120 skim more than 2 x weipro 2012?

You mean you get more skim mate from 1 cup of AQUA C than 2 cups of weipro ? If this is true, I'll sell off my weipro and invest on a Aqua C EV-series soon.

1 EV is more power efficient than 2 weipro. Also, save space and $ to have 2 pumps.

it's the quality of the skimmate, weipro will take longer to produce those dark and dry kinda skimmate...besides..the aquaC will oxygenate the water far better than the weipro

I not so concern abt electricity bills or heat contribute from the pumps, just interested in the amount of black kopi skim mate.

Depending on bio load. If your tank is efficient, with other means of fitration, even a top skimmer can only produce so much.

So skimming out more kopi may not be good...it could also mean your other means could not cope or you are overfeeding or too heavy bio load.

urh. this isn't a comparisson of "is two better than one."

since you're not concerned about electric bills and all, this is a silly suggestion, but why don't you get an EV and try it out with your Weipros.

dumb suggestions aside, go straight for the AquaC. I dare say that your two Weipros will end up complimenting the AquaC.
