Try Sintec (or something, dont remember the name) 2nd or 3th of SimLim Tower.

They've wide range of electronic ballast.

You can get PL clip at $0.80 each, the endcap would cost $4+.

About the bulb, it depends on your brand preference.

btw, Natural Aquarium is selling electronic ballast at a cheaper price.

actually you can replace those end caps with normal wire connectors

6500K 36watts = $9

10000K 36watts = 2 for $30

2x 36watts eballast = $20

C clip = $0.50

you can get them at nature aquarium

6500k, 10,000k 36w PL tube is 16" long.

yes i have found the 60watt e-ballast which can be used to support 55watt tubes. the shop is at the third level of sim lim tower, the biggest shop near the escalator.

the e-ballast is place very near the floor (quite hard to notice), so have to ask the owner or something.

hey phang, if you are interested in going there with me on saturday, just send me a SMS on Saturday morning. anyone else also interested can also join if possible. phang had told me that he found 55watt 10,000K PL tube at $30, which is also quite hard to find.

hi all, was looking for PL 36w 10k...was at kelantan on sun...all closed & ended up walking whole of lavender area-came away wif a drill set!(in angst i ended all the way at sealife & spent money again!). all i could find in the light shops @36w-4pins were the osram 2980 lumens-(hardy enough).& they look warm white to me- even though called daylight.

Does anybody have an add. of the shop?

i know its a lane but got so many shops.

will pop by nature next week-r they cheapish for PL? only looking for 10k & higher tubes.

P.S, was cringing at rainbow last nite- saw they had 11w phillips Daylight PL tubes@ $14. BTW- NTUC sells them @$2.50!! Joke!
