yes, it is actually an outsump skimmer, however, it can also be in sump as well...ask bro roidan, he knows

its an outsump, an outsump skiimmer can be use in-sump but an in-sump skimmer cannot be use outsump..

i using ev240 and this H&S model..is outsump but i chucked it in my sump also....save trouble...hehee

outsump skimmers always have the flexibility to use insump provided you have height clearance for it...whereas insump skimmers are only for insump purposes...

no problem..good product worth to push

yeah...beckett may have an edge in bigger tanks where higher turnover of water is preferred....but needlewheels are also good in their own ways
