The BLV10kk running very white so T5 not needed. But will be running the MH for 6-7hrs/day and the rest of the time will be running T5 for my viewing pleasure.

Not fair.... my BLVs are soooo yellow :P:P

I use to run BLV 250W 10KK.

They are yellow too.

Is it because of the ballast ?

Yeah I guess so

Anyway, good buy :)

After installation of the LA3 mini running 3x250W BLV10kk 6 hrs daily, now the tank pH is kept between 8.45 and 8.05.

Before that with the Aqualight of 2x250W BLV10kk (10hrs/day) 150W BLV20kk (12hrs/day) the pH is kept between 8.25 to 7.8

This shows despite running shorter hrs with higher intensity (but overall less electrical consumption) there is still greater photosynthesis activity.

Aiyo better reset your white balance

Really want to see the tank without any exposure compensation

You already see it in person right? Does this photo do justice to the actual view? Or all the colors of the SPS are photo-edited? Now you get the point?

White balance is set to "auto +3" and this gives a fairly accurate representation of the actual view with the eyes unlike some pple getting some super blue photos yet claiming to have done the correct WB :blink::blink:

If no exposure compenstation is done then some of the SPS will surely appears saturated :P

But somehow your second photo looks kind of "greenish" :P:P

Having seen the tank in person, we cannot doubt the colours of your SPS

Now how about some macros :lol:

I was aiming towards the "black" part of the tank and probably that caused the WB to go haywire :P

Macro shots quite boring, no kick today, maybe some other days.
