Aquabee offers very good pumps. IMO, a good pump = high flowrate but uses little wattage to perform that flowrate. In this way, you save electricity and cut down on heat emission.

Anyway Melyvn any more skimmer pics? I just wanna *slurp* at the skimmate.

Wah lao it is not the skimate that counts lar. Weipro is famous for dark skimate wan. But when you start going into details, I am sure all of us know the results liao - no need to elaborate too much!

Got myself another hammer last week - my angel feast itself on it !!!

Just returned from Sealife with a nice powder brown and got whacked by my powder blue - damn fierce man !!! so gotta lights off. Strange thing about this powder brown is that it still eat very well despite getting whacked...hope it'll turn out well...

Hi Mel, was at Sealife this afternoon too. Saw the Japonicus, beautiful, no wonder you can't lay your hands off it.

Maybe you can try putting a mirror to re-direct the aggression, works for me previously when I introduce tangs.

That's the thing about the Acanthurus species, once you add one it is very difficult to add another without some fights. That's why, I dun have the courage to add although this batch were beautiful.

Actually SL have one very nice PBT too.

My plan was to add AT but somehow found it too expensive and risky so add a brownie...planning to remove my blue tang & orange shoulder in time to come.

Also...thinking / planning for a 1ft x 1ft x 1ft cube for my room (itchy backside)

By the way, saw you post regarding the CL650 erratic turning on and off, I am experieneceing it too today. The temp was 30 degrees and the chiller still diam diam and after 5 minutes then it run like hell!

I love fishes....corals are there to complement them so that overall it'll look more like a reef.... trying to put all those things i like into the tank (a very delicate balance and thing to do - although not as extreme as to do matching with lionfish with chromises )

Maybe getting some cultured sps tomorrow...anyone wants to get them ?
